Latest Update

So for now and forever, I'm only going to have three rats. I'm not aloud to get anymore, the Dad says. It's okay though. I don't want to end up like my friend Megan with like 10 rats. So I have three healthy rats. Muffin, Flower, and Bella. I got a really big cage and I'm trying to sell my purple one.
So here are some pictures :

Bella

The newest family member, Flower.

My sweetest girl Muffin. Isn't she so big now?

Bella and Sophie

So Keyla ended up dieing also. I was so sad. She was going to be a great rat. She died because of the stuff I put in the cage, she sniffed it up and I guess that caused her not to breath. So today I bought two new rats. When I get pictures up, I'll show you them. The smallest one is white and her name is Sophie, the other one is a little bigger but still a baby and her name is Bella.

I can't put Muffin with them so until they get bigger, they will be in a separate cage. She's such a *****. If you know what I mean. I mean, she's great to people, but she always wants to hurt the smaller rats I get. I hope you guys don't think I'm a bad pet owner, because I kept care of Keyla and Chestnut as best I could.

Tip : If you have any questions, leave comments and an email and I will get back to you.

New Cage and Rat

Here is a video on youtube of my new cage I got for my birthday and my new pet rat Keyla. She's in a separate cage because she has mites. If you have any questions, comment with an email and I will answer. This cage was only $40.00 on petco.com. Only cage, nothing else. Includes the ladders and shelfs.

Keyla

Today I went on a trip to a new location. Megan and I went to Fosters Exotic Pet Store and I got another baby rat to replace Chestnut. I ended up naming her Keyla. It's such a good name. I was gonna go with Cheerio, but this name is SO much better. Don't you think? Well, I have my favorite shows to watch tonight, because Thursday is my t.v night. So this means tomorrow I will upload a photo of Keyla for all of you viewers to see.
Comment if you like.

R.I.P Chestnut

Today I came home and I saw Chestnut in the cage not acting herself. I picked her up to see blood on her nose. I whipped it off and put her in the cage. I checked up on her to see if she was okay but she was nodding off while standing up and limping around. She ended up passing away in the corner of the cage. I was so sad I cried. I ended up barring her in my back yard. Before I put her in the ground, I noticed her body was already hard after only being dead for 10 minutes. She was, let me say, a biotch, but I was still sad to see her go.

Pose for the camera

Okay, I know I said in my last post that I would take some pictures of Chestnut to show you blogger enthusiasts.
Chestnut
So here are some pictures of Muffin and Chestnut together in the cage. I ended up favoring more pictures towards Muffin because I just love her so much.

This is one of my favorite. Her face is all up in the camera but her butt is perfectly displayed.

Muffin is all like, whats that? Whats that?

Muffin is just SOOOO cute.

I love how this picture has Muffins eyes at the top and Chestnuts eyes at the bottom. There both out of focus but the bedding is perfect.

Muffin and Popcorn

While Muffin was being rambunctious today, my dad came into my room with a bag of popcorn. The question of, "I wonder if she will like some popcorn." came into the conversation. So naturally I stated, "Let's find out." I lead Muffin out of her tubing and let her smell the buttery treat. She used her teeth and snatched it right out of my fingers. Then she proceeded to the corner of the cage. Let me paint a picture of how she looked. Muffin, looking like something a dog would do, she walked with her head up and her feet on her tippy toes, and with the popcorn still in her mouth to her favorite eating spot. It's just so darn adorable. Then my father gave Muffin some more popcorn to nibble on. It only took her eight minutes to eat all of it. I think she likes popcorn, do you?

Tip : Make sure to give your rat small doses of fatty treats and to maintain a healthy diet.

Muffins new house mate - Chestnut

Today me and Megan went to the pet store again. I decided I wanted another pet rat to keep Muffin company. So I bought a baby rat and named her Chestnut. She's kinda scared, but Muffin loves her. She's already forcing her down and cleaning her. It's so cute. I don't know how I came up with the name Chestnut, but I like it. Don't you? Hahaha, I just used a rhetorical question in my blog. How pathetic was that? There goes another one. Anyways, I just need to put some flea powder on her because Muffin still has fleas. Shes not itching so that means theres so live one. I'm gonna make sure to put the powder on Muffin every 3-4 days. Instead of 2 weeks.
Will have a picture of her soon :D

My Poor Baby

Today has been an abomination for poor Muffin. I've discovered that she has fleas. It's so gross and horrible. I've bathed her two times with Dawn soap and followed some instructions I found on the internet. I don't st    know what I'm going to do to get rid of them. I guess I'll just try to do what I've been doing and see if that works. Fleas are just so hard to handle.
